President Williams Recommends to Chancellor Goldstein Naming School in Honor of Bernard and Anne Spitzer NEW YORK, March 25, 2009 – Bernard Spitzer, a 1943 engineering graduate of T��ɫ��Ƶ (CCNY) and prominent real estate developer, is giving $25 million to City College for the benefit of the College’s School of Architecture. City College art lecturer Tom Thayer , a performance artist who “operates at the intersection of the hand-crafted and the technological,” will premiere one of his live performances and give a talk about his work at New York’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) 7 p.m. Monday, December 16. Mr. Thayer’s work explores shifts that occur when a three-dimensional object, such as a collage or sculpture, is represented in another medium.
