Historical Note: The Centro C铆vico Cultural Dominicano was established in 1962 as the first Dominican community organization in the City of New York. It was created as a civic and social organization to promote cultural activities related to the New York Dominican community. This is only a small portion of the organization鈥檚 archival materials, the main collection of the Centro C铆vico Cultural Dominicano is still maintained by the organization.
Scope and Content Note: The collection consists of invitations to the activities of the Centro C铆vico Cultural Dominicano; photographs, and information about past presidents.
