Internship Opportunities

The CCNY Humanities & Arts Internship Program is designed to connect students within the division to valuable professional learning experiences across New York City (and beyond). This initiative aims to support students in exploring career paths within the humanities and the arts while fostering strong partnerships with community organizations. Supported with funding from the Mellon Foundation, this program has three goals: building availability of opportunities; fostering awareness among students, faculty, and staff of the importance of internships; and ensuring equitable access to internships.

Through this initiative, all internship positions are PAID. To be eligible for placement, students must:

  • Major in a program within the Division of Humanities & the Arts

  • Have taken at least 30 credits at CCNY at time of placement and be in good academic standing

  • Meet with the Director of Academic Internship for placement advisement and application review

Please note that placement is NOT guaranteed. The Director of Academic Internships will work with students on submitting their application materials (resume and cover letter) and then if the host site is interested they will be contacted for an interview.
