Maxime Blanchard, Ph.D., Harvard University, D.E.A., Universit茅 de Paris-lV, M.A., University of Minnesota, B.A., Universit茅 de Montr茅al, Associate Professor of French. He specializes in 20th and 21st Century French and Qu茅b茅cois literature. He is the author of S'engager: l'intellectuel dans l'oeuvre d'Andr茅 Malraux (Arras: Presses de l'Universit茅 d'Artois, 2008). He has worked on Fernand Dumont, Simone Weil, Michel Tremblay, and Marcel Proust. His current research project deals with literary and cinematographic reprensentations of Jean Moulin, the French 谤茅蝉颈蝉迟补苍迟. His latest book, Le Qu茅bec n'existe pas, an essay against globalization, was published in 2017.
