I-Hsien Wu
Profile
I-Hsien Wu holds a PhD and an MA in premodern Chinese literature from Columbia University and a BA in music from Boston University. Her research focuses on late-imperial Chinese literature and its interaction with modern media culture. Her publication includes Eroticism and Other Literary Conventions in Chinese Literature: Intertextuality in The Story of the Stone (New York: Cambria, 2017), a chapter in the MLA volume Approaches to Teaching The Story of the Stone (Dream of the Red Chamber), and essays in journals such as Ming Qing Studies and Chinese Literature and Culture.
