Thriving as a First Generation College Student

Workshops are designed to educate by providing an overview of the subject matter in a group setting. Workshops follow a structured presentation and generally have a portion of time devoted to teaching and then applying skills. Workshops provided by the City College Counseling Center help students learn skills, aim to improve the mental health of college students, and promote help seeking behaviors and emotional well-being practices.
All workshops for students are provided in person at the Counseling Center in Marshak J15.
